Telson Servicios Audiovisuales has opted for technology from the German DVS to reorganize its IT infrastructure in order to make it more flexible and stable and condition it for growth in demand in the near future. DVS solutions offer high storage performance with complete security, reliability and flexibility. Telson has implemented SpycerBox as an ideal solution for fast and nearline storage of its entire flow, articulating it as a NAS (Network Attached Storage) providing services to different projects throughout the entire workflow. The heart of the new workflow, both storage and management, is a DVS-SAN, which can access the material from countless positions distributed throughout all Telson facilities in Madrid. The DVS-SAN acting as central storage systems is capable of providing up to four streams in real time. The protection of all stored material is ensured at a RAID-5 level.

The integration of Spycer management software has given Telson the ability to optimize and accelerate workflow using a sophisticated management tool that includes search and browser functions, high-speed copy and disk defragmentation.

Agapito Otero, technical director of Telson, noted that "with the DVS-SAN, DVS has contributed to the stabilization of our workflows. In just three days, the DVS team was able to complete the restructuring of our storage, helping us to constantly reach all the material with the high transfer rates that we need in crucial projects. In addition, the Spycer software has provided us with an excellent tool to help us become increasingly transparent our workflows.”

For his part, Ernst-Joerg Oberhoessel, sales director of DVS, pointed out that "we have offered Telson Servicios Audiovisuales exactly what they needed to increase their efficiency and flexibility, thus satisfying the demand that their clients' projects require."
