Quantel confirms its presence at IBC 2009
New developments in post-production, broadcast and 3D stereoscopy will be part of the exhibition.
After its absence at the last NAB, Quantel has announced today that it will finally be present at the next edition of IBC in Amsterdam. The stand will highlight Quantel's latest developments in the field of post-production, broadcast and 3D stereoscopic systems. Steve Owen, Quantel's marketing director, said: "We all hope to have many productive meetings with both our current customers and potential new customers at the show. In making our decision to participate in the IBC, we have taken into account the wishes of our customers, who have expressed their desire to meet with Quantel during the show. We are going to show and discuss some of the most important innovations that have just come out of our Research and Development (R&D) laboratory. This is also clear, when speaking with our current customers and futures is their real concern about the environmental impact of these large events, and how to minimize it,” Owen continues. “We will address this issue at the IBC in terms of how to build our stand, our staff, transportation and reuse, trying to create a more sustainable approach to this exhibition.”
