Xframe: comprehensive management for television from Aspa

The Spanish company develops a complete system for media asset management that is fully configurable and customizable under a modular structure.

Aspa, with a development team with more than twelve years of experience in coding systems and development of tools for media, has launched Xframe, a comprehensive digital management system for television, on the market. This media management solution can work simultaneously on the same list with multiple video (DV50, DV25, DVSD, MJPEG, MPEG2, MPEG4 H.263 and H.264…) and audio (MP3, MP2, WAV…) encoding formats simultaneously.

Configurable and definable user interface (screens). Among the main characteristics of this Aspa proposal stands out an interface that is fully customizable by the user in color, size, number of lists... All the system applications are structured by modules, and can be integrated according to the needs in each case under a client/server model. The system allows automatic recovery in the event of any eventuality as well as total control and supervision of all local and remote positions (with comprehensive management of groups and users with different profiles). Xframe also allows you to define new fields in the database, with all video archives structured in a tree with subfolders.

Funciones

From the loading point of view, it is possible to drag the material from Windows Explorer itself, recording using the codecs installed on the PC. Xframe also allows you to control a VTR from the recording screen itself with the possibility of adjusting levels (envelope) as well as automatic loading of programming, even in automatic shooting mode with different loading options for a broadcast list. Another possibility is to embed logos (flies) and titles manually and automatically. Xframe also has the possibility of including an agenda to schedule copies as well as centralized management of the agenda in the event that there are several copy stations. Sendings can be scheduled for one or more recipients, with an FTP client for sending and capturing any type of files, controlling transfers at all times. The system is capable of retrying the shipment in case of communication failures or directing the same shipment to several recipients.
