Playbox celebrates a decade proud of having devised the concept of “a channel in a box”, since this manufacturer has been able to offer end-to-end solutions for small and medium-sized televisions as well as new distribution platforms both in IPTV and in corporate television or digital signage environments. Always working with tight budgets, Playbox has been offering proposals ranging from a single channel per server to turnkey multichannel solutions.

One of its most acclaimed solutions is µPlay, it is an 'all-in-one' software that includes everything required to launch a small channel in IPTV or Internet TV, corporate TV or local television environments. This solution integrates graphics, animation, video, audio in real time. The package provides everything you need to run anything from a secondary video channel to a graphics-intensive, 24-hour news feed.

For automated playout, Playbox has Edge Server technology that allows full operation and remote monitoring of a broadcast. Customizable, to adapt to the needs of users, both in single and multi-channel, Edge Server has full security due to its high level of redundancy. This solution allows localization of content, including spots, station ID, multilingual audio, subtitles and graphics.

For media management, PlayBox proposes Metus, an asset management system that can be the heart of a small television or a large broadcast center. You can organize and manage the assets of one or more channel operations, as well as other content from third parties. PlayBox Metus MAM is available as a stand-alone solution or working with PlayBox technology, ingesting material from several centers and broadcasting for multiple channels. Already in the newsroom, the new NewsAir is integrated with PlayBox technology for broadcasting, constituting a reliable system at low cost. The NRCS NewsAir provides journalists with a collaborative network where they can include news, forecasts and news agency material.

Finally, in the field of digital signage, PlayBox DS is a robust technology for multi-screen playback in digital signage environments, even in HD, with great graphics quality and very simple handling. In addition, through synchronization, the playback of stereoscopic 3D files is possible.
