Channel 4, also in 3D
Following Sky's announcement to soon begin broadcasting in 3D, another British private channel, Channel 4, also wants to position itself in stereoscopy by broadcasting tests starting this coming fall.
In response to Sky, Channel 4 did not want to be left behind and has already announced that it will begin broadcasting in 3D tests starting this fall. Channel has opted for technology ColorCode, which allows you to see apparently normal images on the screen, but when the viewer uses the corresponding glasses the screen creates the effect of a third dimension. These glasses will be distributed through the Sainsbury's chain in the United Kingdom.
Channel 4 hopes that advertisers and large media centers will quickly connect with this three-dimensional experience, making the most of 3D on television.
