TeamCast launches platform for DTV and mobile TV at IBC'09

TeamCast will emphasize new digital television platforms and mobile TV broadcast networks in Amsterdam.

A complete end-to-end solution for DVB-T2 transmission, from a DVB-T2 gateway to its professional reference demodulator (Demod4-T2 with pre-correction), will occupy the center of the TeamCast booth at IBC'09. The company wants to emphasize that this system is not only prepared for single frequency SFN networks but also for future applications such as MISO or multi-PLP. TeamCast is a reference provider of OEM technology for mobile television and digital television transmission, with products for almost all DVB-T/H, DVB-SH, DVB-T2, ATSC, FLO, ISDB-T, DTMB, CMMB, T-DMB or DAB-IP standards.

In addition to Demod 4, Teamcast will also exhibit at IBC'09 the Power 4-T2 DVT-T2 modulator, the MCX-1000 universal CMMB modulator and compatible DTMB modulator, and the INM-1000, a versatile network interface module for powering digital television and digital radio transmitters. During the fair, TeamCast will launch a test channel with an entire broadcast headend for digital television and mobile environments, in which much of this equipment will be put to the test.
