Avid launches Content Core, a data-driven platform

Editorials, studios, post-production companies and media are the recipients of Content Core, premiere of Avid in IBC 2025 (September 12 – 15, Amsterdam) that seeks to redefine how audiovisual assets are created, managed and monetized through an open data-driven hybrid cloud architecture.

Unlike the systems of multimedia asset management (MAM), Avid Content Core It is presented as a platform content data that provides a single source of truth and connects teams and systems across editorial, operational and business areas to facilitate the production, distribution and monetization collaborative. Each asset that is added to the platform receives a unique fingerprint, allowing teams working in the Avid ecosystem to authenticate its provenance, track its usage, and measure return on investment. In this way, the identity of the assets, ingestion, storage, metadata, orchestration, and rights information in a single smart layer.

By identifying content as interconnected data rather than isolated files, isolated multimedia libraries are transformed into a ecosistema interoperable through tools such as advanced search based on artificial intelligence and recommendations, reducing the time needed to find and use content. In parallel, integrated review, approval, and editing are integrated into one browser-based access, streamlining workflows across distributed teams.

Avid Content Core is designed as a open and extensible platform.
