Verimatrix: conditional access for more networks and content

At IBC'09 it will present Verimatrix Video Content Authoring System (VCAS), v 3.0, which represents a new generation of this conditional access solution.

Verimatrix will present version 3.0 of its VCAS conditional access solution at its IBC'09 stand, which, among other innovations, expands the domain of traditional conditional access. The value proposition of the new VCAS 3 goes beyond pure content protection to include the concept of business model security.

The VCAS 3.0 profile includes new features that extend its application to new networks and new types of content. As a new element of these improvements, VideoMark is offered, the watermark that ensures the identification of content

VCAS 3 is capable of supporting new video delivery formats and new consumption models with a single authorization architecture for streaming on PC, iPhone and other IPTV and OTT devices and networks. Finally, note that the use of Multi-DRM Standards Support with MultiRights allows transparent content protection, including standard devices.
