Vizrt in the Swedish Parliament

The Dry Parliament selects Vzrt's media management solution to offer live and on-demand video on its portal.

The Veriges Riksdag, the Swedish parliament based in Stockholm, has opted for Vizrt's media management system to offer video, both live and on demand, on its web portal. This portal has been designed to offer all the events and sessions that occur in Swedish parliamentary life. The working basis of this new portal is based on Vizrt's Viz Ardome management solution, facilitating the identification of metadata, the conversion of video files to other formats, and the editing of pieces, with the possibility of interacting with other Vizrt products.

Once the images are captured, they are ingested into the Ardome, transcoding the material and transferring it to the servers for web streaming or downloading in a fully automated manner. Vizrt products support content management at different authorization levels from simple ingestion, editing, archiving, organization or incorporation of metadata.

In addition to the Ardome system, the Swedish Parliament has other tools at its disposal such as Viz Dart and Viz Capture, for video ingestion; Viz EasyCut, Viz PreCit, Vix MediaLogger for proxy-based video editing; and Viz Engine for dual-channel servers. Finally, Viz Adactus provides a broadcast platform for new media.
