At Broadcast'09, Percon has unveiled a curious articulated structure for racks designed to allow comfortable access to the rear through a folding frame. It has a standard 19" separation and is made of 305 stainless steel and T6061 anodized aluminum, with cadmium-plated nuts. The structure supports 6, 6, 8 and 10 RU.
The other important novelty this year is a patch panel marketed under the AVP brand for dual 3 GHz micro jacks that complies with the SMPTE 424M-2006 standard. Accommodates 48 channels with 69 breakpoints in a RU unit or 96 channels in a 1.5 RU unit. Its circuit identification system allows each circuit to be coded by color, which simplifies the connection at first glance.
Finally, highlight a new super-flexible rubber cable designed for mobile units or public spaces. It is a very comfortable cable to use, and fully complies with regulations regarding the absence of halogens and high fire resistance.
