Percon will also present the Muxlab IP video extender, compatible with 3G-SDI, HDMI or DVI signals with a range of up to 100 meters.

Percon BNC UHDAware of the needs of the industry when using connectors in the new Ultra High Definition workflows in 4K and 8K (UHD-1 and UHD-2), Percon will launch in BIT 2016 new connectors designed specifically for these applications.

These high-precision 75 ohm BNCs are optimized for UHD-1/4K, UHD-2/8K applications, digital applications up to 48 Gbps, and critical analog applications with 0-24GHz bandwidth. In addition, they are one hundred percent compatible with the new Silver+ coaxial cables.

At the Audiovisual Technology Professional Show, Percon will also exhibit a new electric+fiber hybrid cable (SMPTE 311M), ideal for mobile and fixed applications. It is fully compatible with SMPTE 304m connectors (Lemo 3K.93C) composed of two G.657 single-mode fiber cables, four power cables, two control cables and a general screen.

This cable is intended for camera applications in which the union of single-mode fiber optics with control/signal cables is defined. Thus, it could be used in professional video production for simultaneous transmission of video, audio and control signals between the mobile unit and the base station.

IP video extenders

Other novelties that we can see at the Percon stand is the IP video extender from Muxlab.
These extenders are compatible with 3G-SDI, HDMI and DVI signals with a range of up to 100 meters. Designed for use with video walls, they are configurable with a maximum of 16 emitters and 200 screens. Furthermore, thanks to its network controller, the signal to be displayed independently on each monitor can be configured at any time.
