Percon exhibits its proposals for 4K UHD connectivity at IBC

One of the key aspects in the development of infrastructures prepared for the production and distribution of signals in Ultra High Definition 4K is connectivity. To meet this demand, Percon is showing at IBC 2017 its latest technological innovations in high-quality cables, connectors, connection panels and accessories with the maximum guarantee.

Entre sus soluciones UHD/4K destacan el nuevo cable coaxial de vídeo Silver+ con conductor central de cobre bañado en plata para aplicaciones digitales que soporta transmisiones de datos seriados (SDI) y formatos de televisión de alta definición (HDTV) según SMPTE 259M (270Mbps/SDI), ITU-R BT.601 (Composite PAL 177Mbps), SMPTE 292M (1,5Gbps/HD-SDI), SMPTE 424M (Prog. Scan. HDTV/3G-SDI), SMPTE ST2081 (QFHD) and SMPTE ST2082 (UHD-1).

También el conector BNC UHD/8K 12GHz de 75 ohm de alto rendimiento con cuerpo de color negro y contactos interno y externo con baño en oro. Con medidas de crimpado estándar conforme a los requisitos de SMPTE ST 2081-1 y ST 2082-1 para su uso en sistemas 6G-SDI y 12G-SDI, y ahora también probados a 18 GHz.

Patch panels UHD/4K

Por otro lado, Percon estrena dos soluciones alternativas para la utilización de patch panels UHD/4K de AVP. La primera consiste en un módulo del popular sistema universal, disponible en paneles de 1, 1.5 y 2 unidades de rack. La segunda consiste en una estructura de aluminio extruido de una unidad de rack, la cual incluye el sistema de numeración y designación patentado por AVP ofreciendo un mayor espacio para la información. El conector cumple ampliamente los requisitos de la SMPTE ST2082-1:2015 (Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers 12Gb/s Signal/Data Serial interface-Electrical). Los paneles están disponibles en 1RU, 2×24, 2×26 y 2×32.
