Canon: HJ14ex4.3B IRSE/IASE: the widest HD angle for 2/3 cameras

Designed for 2/3 inch cameras, Canon now has what is considered the largest HD angle on the market for these cameras. The new HJ14ex4.3B IRSE/IASE allows opening from 4.3 mm to 60 mm.

Within the HDXD range, Canon now has what is considered the largest HD angle on the market for 2/3 inch optics. This angle allows you to open from 4.3 mm to 60 mm, even reaching up to 120 mm by using the built-in duplicator. Its field of view is 96.3º for 16/9 with a x14 zoom. With 4.5 mm optics until now it was only possible to achieve a field of view of 93.7º. The minimum focusing distance is 0.3 meters, reaching 10 mm by activating macro.

It weighs just two kilos and, like most Canon optics, it has a corrector for chromatic aberrations and optical defects. Finally, note that Canon has significantly improved the operator interface with zoom, iris and focus control.
