Eurocom Group is very present in this African Cup of Nations since countless coverages are being carried out with the forty mobile units that the Spanish company supplied to Radio Television of Angola.

Until the end of this month, Angola hosts the African Cup of Nations, one of the two largest sporting events on the African continent this year along with the World Cup in South Africa.

Among the technical deployment that Angolan Radio Television has put in place to cover this event, which is based in the stadiums of Luanda, Benguela, Cabinda and Lubango, the forty mobile units that it ordered from the Eurocom Group stand out. The Spanish company designed and integrated these light mobile television units with transmission and production of three completely autonomous cameras with a replay server that include their own generating set as well as several mobile radio units with a satellite transmission system.

Radio Television Angola's mobile phones are equipped with Sony DXC-55PK cameras, Shure microphones, Thomson Grass Valley replay servers, Sony TFT monitoring, Pesa Ocelot 16×16 matrices, Final Cut non-linear editing, a synchronism and changeover generator from DK Technologies and an intercom system from Kroma.

One of the main characteristics of these mobile television units is their transmission system, since they offer the possibility of transmitting via satellite or via a digital link located on the mast of the unit whose vehicle has reduced dimensions. The integrated transmission equipment is a Swe-Dish, encoding the signal with Advent equipment and decoding with Tandberg solutions.
