Granite, Broadcast Pix's new mixer-server in three configurations
Available on three models, Broadcast PX now offers a comprehensive production center with mixer up to eleven HD/SD-SDI inputs (expandable to 22) and a server equipped with the FLUENT software for acceleration of the workflow that provides up to 120 hours of storage of images and graphics.
Starting from an HD native internal architecture, Broadcast PX has presented its new granite integrated production system that is mainly composed of a mixer and a server capable of working with signals in up to 1080p HD.
The mixer allows simultaneously counting SDI multisfinition signals for 1080i, 720p and SD (soon will also admit 1080p).
For its part, the server, equipped with the FLUENT software for acceleration of the workflow, provides up to 120 hours of storage of images, graphics and next to the new Harris CG, this comprehensive proposal of Broadcast Pix provides a multi -paid capable of presenting all the sources as well as the possibility of accessing the import of files directly from the editing systems and having macros for macros for files based on files. The Intel Quad processor account with 2TB storage at RAID 10.
Broadcast Pix will offer this solution in three models ranging from 1m/e of the granite 100 and 1000 to 2m/e of the 5000 model, being able to migrate from one to another. Those users who have Broadcast Pix Slate hybrids HD/SD/Analog Hybrids can update the granite with the same control panels and the FLUENT software.
Eleven entrances, eight outputs
Lodged in three rack units, the Granite mixer offers eleven HD/SD-SDI inputs with the possibility of expanding them twenty-two, in addition to the fourteen from the server through a PCI Express. Each input has a clips channel, two for animations and four for graphics, all of them with Key, automatically detecting the input format (reforming 16: 9/4: 3 if necessary) mixing signals whether they are synchronized as if not.
It has, on the other hand, eight outputs, six HD/SD-SDI, expandable to twelve, and two DVIs (with up to six keyers with dve picture-in-Picure).
It should be noted that both at work with conversion of format and ratio of appearance, pip or graphics, the mixer always operates with a delay below 33ms.
Both granite 100 and 1000 share the same set of features, although in the case of 1000 it includes a physical control panel with a customizable button.
The lowest model, Granite 100, is controlled from the Softpanel web application, its multipant, or the new iPixpanel application developed for the new iPad. The highest range model has a control panel developed to get the most out of productions with intensive use of 2m/e with options such as dual-sereen.
