Goodbye to Fritz Sennheiser, promoter of the audio industry

The founder of the great audio multinational Sennheiser, Fritz Sennheiser, has died a few days after turning 98. The company's audio systems are widely used in the film and music industries.

This week Fritz Sennheiser, promoter of the audio industry as we know it today and pioneer in the world of electroacoustics and transmission technology, said goodbye to us. Sennheiser founded the company that bears his name with a group of seven engineers from the University of Hannover shortly after World War II, and among the group's notable inventions are its advanced microphones, infrared transmission of sound, and the development of multichannel wireless technology.

The company's audio systems are widely used in the film and music industries, having even received Grammy and Emmy awards. Today more than 2,000 people work at Sennheiser, with factories in several countries and whose products are sold all over the world.
