RTW TouchMonitor, monitorización de audio con un simple toque de dedo

RTW, fabricante alemán de equipos de medición y control para audio, acaba de lanzar al mercado TouchMonitor, una innovadora gama de productos para medición y seguimiento de señales de audio desde un sistema táctil sobre pantalla de 7 y 9 pulgadas.

With an intuitive and flexible interface on a high-resolution 16:9 touch screen, the new TouchMonitors are especially suitable for television environments as a response to the management of new loudness control standards, high definition and surround sound. In the case of the 9-inch model RTW offers a 3G SDI digital interface as an option.

Controlled simply with a finger or a mouse, these systems offer users complete freedom in the positioning and scaling of each of the measuring instruments. In addition, they have a conextual help menu that will help you modify the configuration with a simple touch.

On the other hand, its modular components allow for a completely personalized system so the user can only purchase those modules that they use the most, being able to add new functions and instruments at any time. Many of the functions available in RTW products are prepared to be integrated into this new system, such as the surround sound analyzer, the real-time analyzer (RTA) or the ITU/EBU intelligent loudness control.

Tanto la versión TM7 como la TM9 (7 y 9 pulgadas) pueden admitir señales de varios formatos: TM9 analógico, AES3 y AES3id (el TM9, también admite opcionalmente señales 3D SDI). Ambas versiones disponen de un puerto LAN, una salida VGA para conectar pantallas externas, interfaces GPIO y dos puertos USB.

Reseñar, por último, que RTW ha cerrado recientemente un acuerdo con la danesa TC Electronic para desarrollar nuevos productos para medición de audio como el Loudness Radar Meter LM5D para gestión predictiva de loudness, que también se ha incorporado ya a la serie TouchMonitor.
