Telestream's Prism receives new audio monitoring tools
The latest software version designed by Telestream for the Prism waveform monitor family adds new audio solutions with an eye on UHD productions.
Thanks to this update, Prism, a tool aimed at the areas of video engineering, operations, live acquisition and event production and post-production, can now monitor 32 channel audio compatible with formats 4K y 8K. In order to benefit from these workflows, users must purchase a new software license key.
Among the new features of Prism we also find extensive audio support for IP environments, including the 2110-30 and 2110-31, both of which support audio Dolby compressed; local headphone and speaker output via IP-to-SDI conversion with 5.1/7.1 downmix; Dolby D/D+ and Dolby E decoding with Dolby status support; and screen surround RTW for surround sound productions.
Compatibility with international standards
This software update also provides support for international loudness standards for global regulatory compliance. The tool has loudness monitoring threshold alarms and alerts adjustable and simultaneous measurement and display of Lissajous.
