The Streambox Live solution for video contribution over broadband has served as a link to follow the ascent of Everest by the American Jordan Romero, the youngest climber in history who, at just 13 years of age, has reached the top of the highest peak in the world. Using Streambox technology, the expedition sent high-quality video reports to different broadcasters around the world, including CNN.

Bob Hildeman, president and CEO of Streambox, has highlighted that this climb to Everest is precisely “the type of application for which Streambox Live was designed, allowing live streaming or sending files from a remote and inaccessible place.”
