NanfangTV, the Chinese regional broadcaster with a potential audience of 100 million viewers, has equipped its new fourteen-camera high-definition mobile unit with an Artist digital intercom system from Germany's Riedel.

NanfangTV, the Chinese regional broadcaster with a potential audience of 100 million viewers, has equipped its new fourteen-camera high-definition mobile unit with an Artist digital intercom system from Germany's Riedel. RacPro, the Chinese partner of the German company, has been in charge of launching a system that combines the Artist digital intercom matrix with the Performer digital partyline technology.

A 64-inch Artist has been installed at the heart of the mobile unit, with the entire system equipped with redundant CPUs and power supplies. AIO client cards integrate four signals into the intercom, while Riedel Connect interfaces allow the connection of POTS phones to the intercom infrastructure.

A total of 16 Artist 2000 LCD panels allow you to control the installation with great versatility. An additional Riedel Performer system enables a digital partyline between director and operators.
