Riedel equips the new STB Ukraine mobile
A total of eight Artist 2000 and six Artist 500 panels, together with the Acrobat system, cover all communication needs in the STB unit.
STB Ukraine, one of the largest broadcasters in Ukraine, has equipped its new high definition mobile unit with the systems Riedel. Integrated by the Lithuanian TVC, the new mobile has a digital matrix system for Artist intercom along with the Acrobat solution.
A total of eight Artist 2000 and six Artist 500 panels cover all communication needs in the STB unit. Artist intercom arrays can easily be expanded up to 1,024x1,024 non-blocking ports. Its total redundancy concept offers maximum performance with total security.
Ruslan Polizchuk, technical director, highlighted that "for our new unit, we were looking for both maximum stability and flexibility. With the combination of Artist and Acrobat technology we have the best of both worlds: the stability of Artist and the flexibility of Acrobat wireless technology."
Acrobat enables a full-duplex wireless VoIP-over-DECT communication system. It features a license-free architecture, allowing each Acrobat wireless beltpack to continuously monitor and automatically select the best connection with the Acrobat controller. Furthermore, Acrobat does not interfere with IEM or wireless microphones and therefore offers a perfect solution for live streaming applications. A total of ten Acrobat beltpacks are used in this new STB mobile unit.
