The Canadian Miranda Technologies announced at noon on Thursday the 9th, coinciding with IBC, the purchase of all outstanding shares of the private company OmniBus Systems held until now by Palamon Capital Partners, a European venture capital fund. The cash purchase, valued at 48.7 million Canadian dollars (37.06 million euros), will be financed equally between cash and a credit operation.

La compra en efectivo por valor de 48,7 millones de dólares canadienses (37,06 millones de euros), será financiada a partes iguales entre efectivo y una operación crediticia. OmniBus, con sede en Loughborough, Reino Unido, obtuvo unos ingresos de aproximadamente 24 millones de dólares canadienses (18,2 millones de euros) en el último ejercicio cerrado a 30 de junio 2010. Cuenta con una gran base instalada de clientes entre los que destacan ABC, Ascent Media, Astro, AT&T, BBC, Chellomedia, Corus, Direct TV, Discovery, E!, FOX, SkyPerfect TV, Starz, y Turner.
