DIVApublish: Front Porch DIVA solutions continue to grow

Following the market success of DIVArchive and DIVAdirector, Front Porch Digital has announced at IBC the launch of DIVApublish, the latest module in its family of DIVA solutions. With a commercial launch scheduled for early 2011, it is a cloud-based service for the automated creation of frame-level metadata for video publishing.

Front Porch se ha mostrado este viernes en IBC 2010 muy satisfecha con la amplia adopción de sus soluciones DIVArchive y DIVAdirector en clientes de todo el mundo. Sus directivos han comentado que la tendencia actual les da la razón. “La ingesta manual de cintas, su análisis e introducción de metadatos consumen tiempo, es caro y propenso a errores”, han afirmado.

Para Front Porch, la industria ha reconocido finalmente que las estructuras basadas en ficheros son el futuro y los broadcasters y productores de contenidos necesitan conocer qué tienen exactamente en sus archivos para ponerlos en valor en nuevos canales online, incluso móvil.

In this context, and after the market success of DIVArchive and DIVAdirector, Front Porch Digital has announced at IBC the launch of DIVApublish, the latest module in its family of DIVA solutions. DIVApublish is a cloud-based service for the creation and automation of frame-level metadata for video publishing.

This new solution will allow you to put order in your content, through facial recognition, scene detection, natural speech processing...

DIVApublish will enable content distribution to a wide range of recipients, devices and partners.
Mike Knaisch, president and CEO of Front Porch Digital, has highlighted the enormous historical value and income potential of his clients' files. "With DIVApublish, they will be able to take advantage of new sources of income from their content, with complete security in a controlled environment. Today, the industry is constantly faced with the challenge of taking advantage of all aspects of each asset. Because history has shown us that digital distribution channels are a safe bet, doing nothing is not a good option. DIVApublish allows our clients to value all of their files."

DIVApublish takes DIVArchive content ready for analysis and publishing platforms, using advanced proprietary technology to automatically create frame-level metadata. This new proposal from Front Porch will allow you to distribute content for distribution to partners, manage rights and other complex operations with a unique analytical detail and with quick and simple integration into the workflow.

Still in beta, Front Porch expects it to be commercially available in early 2011.
