ViscomSign Spain 2010 opens its doors with a complete offer
Between October 14 and 16, ViscomSign Spain celebrates its 23rd edition in Hall 8 of IFEMA in Madrid. With 111 participants, it hosts a varied offer for the visual communication industry. Parallel activities include the Creativity 361º conference program, the Trade Marketing and Digital Signage Forum, and the Anuaria, DISI and Letra Roland Awards.
The ViscomSign Spain 2010 show opens its doors this Thursday, October 14th and until October 16th, to be once again the long-awaited meeting point in the Iberian Peninsula for the entire visual communication industry. The 23rd call for the specialized contest is located on this occasion in pavilion 8 of the Madrid Fair Institution (Ifema) venue. Among the 111 exhibitors at the event organized by Reed Exhibitions Iberia, in addition to Spanish firms, there are companies from Germany, Belgium, China, France and the United Kingdom.
During ViscomSign Spain 2010, professionals from the sector are expected to attend again, attracted by both the complete exhibition offering and the extensive parallel program of training and exhibition activities. Thus, in addition to the good business opportunities proposed by the exhibiting companies, the visitor can learn about the most recent trends in visual communication. For three days, the show offers an extensive program of seminars, conferences and graphic exhibitions of great interest to specialists in the sector.
Four exhibition areas
To facilitate the visit, this room is still distributed into four clearly delimited exhibition areas. The objective is to facilitate contact between the different offer present in the event, and a specialized demand, which requires constant innovation in products and services. The so-called Viscom area is the category that occupies the largest area, grouping together companies that are dedicated to large format digital printing, digital textile printing systems, and signage, outdoor advertising and signage, to name just some of its activities. In the InDigital 2010 by Viscom area are all those companies that offer solutions for Digital Image Processing Centers, an emerging business model, which through professional range equipment and systems, makes it possible to personalize the image, and its production on demand.
En el espacio de Design&Innovation 2010 by Viscom, el visitante profesional puede acceder a las soluciones para el Diseño y la Innovación que muestran las compañías expositoras, así como diversas muestras de gran interés para creativos diseñadores gráficos. Finalmente, como espacio dedicado a las soluciones para la Publicidad Digital y Punto de Venta, en la área DigitalSignage 2010 by Viscom puede verse una amplia gama de nuevas tecnologías y soportes concebidos para incrementar las ventas, mediante la emisión de contenidos digitales a través de pantallas.
New for 2010, the Green Route consists of a tour of identified stands of companies that have previously registered as participants to publicize their environmentally friendly products, materials and technologies. To encourage the flow of visits to all these spaces – whose presence in the pavilions is clearly marked – the organizers of the show have developed strategic communication actions aimed at the different professional groups.
Parallel proposals
Among the always-awaited activities of each edition of ViscomSign Spain is the Creativity 361º conference program, now with more plurality in content. This professional conference brings together an interesting panel of speakers on October 15. On the other hand, on June 14 and 15 you can attend the fifth Trade Marketing and Digital Signage Forum - two meetings that were previously held separately are integrated -, once again offering the possibility of listening to some of the top specialists in these fields.
With a large number of scheduled proposals, professionals who come to ViscomSign Spain 2010 can choose between the specialized activities organized by AEDES -with the presentation of its seal-, AER -with its general assembly, demos, conferences, round tables...-, Aserluz -with the conference on "Environmental obligations and solutions in the illuminated sign sector"-, and the specialized seminar launched by Repropres with the title "From repro to trans-promo. The leaders of change”, about new business opportunities from digital.
The best jobs
The privileged framework offered by ViscomSign Spain 2010 makes it possible for the 11th edition of the Roland Letra Awards to be held there - the National Visual Communication Awards, which are a benchmark in signage and labeling creativity on the national graphic scene -, which now have the exclusive sponsorship of the company Roland DG Iberia. And, likewise, the official ceremony for the Anuaria Awards will take place - which this year reaches its 15th edition -, which awards the authors of the best design works throughout the Spanish territory.
Other public recognitions awarded during ViscomSign Spain 2010 are the IX Signing Awards awarded by Aserluz. And the DISI Awards are held for the second time under the setting of the show, with the aim of recognizing the quality of the work carried out by professionals in the Digital Signage sector in Spain.
