Cinema Andalucía 2000 in Granada incorporates Digital Version technology
Digital Version continues its journey to Granada where the Cinema Andalucía 2000 chain has joined the audiovisual group. This initiative, which began months ago thanks to a significant subsidy to this Valencian company from the Ministry of Industry, aims to help SMEs dedicated to film exhibition reduce costs and increase the turnover of their seats by incorporating alternative content.
Digital Version continues its journey to Granada where the Cinema Andalucía 2000 chain has recently joined the audiovisual group. The 15 cinemas of Cinema Andalucía 2000 already have the digital projection system, which directly benefits its viewers. Granada is not the only Andalusian city that has shown interest in developing its technology, since different venues in Linares, Seville and Sanlúcar de Barrameda are also considering joining Versión Digital.
Digital Version (Cine Pyme Digital Portal) began months ago thanks to a significant subsidy to this Valencian company from the Ministry of Industry, intended to digitize more than 300 Spanish movie theaters. The initiative aims to adapt new digital technologies to those small and medium-sized theaters throughout Spain that still work with 35mm films. This ambitious plan is also co-financed by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund and will be executed jointly with the Society of Cinema Entrepreneurs of Spain (SECIES).
