Globecast increases fiber-based connectivity

Globecast clients such as Turner Latin America, Canal+, DirecTv, Fox Sport, Canal+ or SingTel increase their connectivity through fiber optics. The Globecast Backbone Network extends across five continents, with more than thirty POPs.

Globecast has increased the interconnection of its technical services around the world with different operators and broadcast service companies through fiber, as part of its strategy to offer added value to its transport services. Starting from a global service, whether by fiber or satellite, Globecast offers full connectivity to more than 70 clients, including DirectTv and Fox Sport in the US; Turner Latin America; TVN in Poland; Canal+, Arte and Orange in France; SingTel in Singapore; Astro in Malaysia, and i-cable in Hong Kong.

The Globecast Backbone Network extends across five continents, with more than 30 POPs (points-of-presence). The company has capacity in 28 satellites.
