Globecast undertakes a profound reorganization
With this restructuring, Globecast intends to take a step further in its position as a teleport and satellite services.
The French Globecast has undertaken a complete company-wide reorganization in order to enhance its position as a provider of fully integrated media solutions, with a unified approach across all its territories.
Olivier Barberot, CEO of Globecast, admits that the company has "expanded enormously since its creation, achieving enormous success with its satellite and fiber services. We have listened to our customers and closely examined the next phase of our development using their responses and our experience in the market."
With this restructuring, Globecast intends to take a step further in its position as an independent teleport and satellite services by focusing on an integrated and global media solutions company. Its objective is to offer an offer of end-to-end solutions.
With Media Factory, Globecast has streamlined existing workflows to create a single efficient process by which broadcasters can handle everything from content preparation, formatting or quality control, to creative aspects such as editing, as well as contribution, broadcast and distribution services.
Globecast will also continue to provide market contribution and distribution services, with extensive global connectivity via satellite or fiber, with numerous easily accessible and strategically located PoPs, as well as channel packaging and marketing services for television platforms around the world.
