Atempo grows in the media and entertainment industry
At NAB 2011, Atempo shows its digital archiving offering and its growing presence in the Media and Entertainment industry. The company continues to grow in digital asset management and workflow application integration.
Time (Booth SL10510), a provider of multi-platform data protection and archiving solutions, is showing its innovations in products for the media and entertainment industry at NAB 20911.
Product demonstrations with users and partners are highlighting the easy integration and customization of workflows provided by Atempo Digital Archive (ADA), Atempo's highly flexible and scalable file archiving solution. ADA's open architecture enables full integration into application workflows running on a wide range of platforms, streamlining digital workflows in data-intensive environments.
For Atempo media and entertainment users, ADA goes beyond hierarchical preservation and storage to actively participate in the day-to-day workflow. Today, many organizations need to retain their creative data in different states throughout its lifecycle. Raw data, edited files and final projects need to be stored efficiently so that any version can be used in future projects. The transparency of ADA to end users and its integration with a wide range of creative applications allows professionals to easily archive in multiple steps throughout the content creation process and drag information in and out of files as many times as necessary.
Richard Ritman, Vice President of Marketing at Atempo., commented that “Atempo Digital Archive is gaining significant market share, with licensing revenue increasing 35 percent in 2010. Much of this expansion is occurring among media and entertainment organizations seeking to optimize their storage resources and better protect and preserve their digital assets to address the enormous data growth they are experiencing.”
