With support for up to six simultaneous channels in SD and up to four in high definition, Ross Video's SoftMetal server is now on the market in version 4.4 offering up to 14 TB of storage in just a 3 RU unit.

Mainly oriented to the reproduction of clips and graphics in production and also used for the broadcast of advertising under automatic control, SoftMetal is a very flexible option for certain broadcast applications.

SoftMetal version 4.4 builds on the platform's robust features, adding the VDCP control protocol over Ethernet and AMP automatic control support.

Finally, note that Unicode character support makes SoftMetal a good choice for multi-language applications.
