Moviecity launches its Moviecity Play service for Latin America with DirecTv

The Moviecity Internet VOD platform is now available in DTH through DirecTv for all of Latin America.

Since last April, from now on, platform subscribers in Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Uruguay and Venezuela will be able to access these contents in VoD.

Moviecity allows users to access the main titles on display from the channel's Premium package signals that include series, movies, concerts and documentaries. Moviecity Play also allows users the ability to stop, rewind and fast forward content.
Edgar Spielmann, CEO and president of Moviecity, has stated that "our vocation as the best Premium video entertainment experience in Latin America moves us to be the first to broadcast Premium content on demand over the Internet in the region and provide this value-added service from July 1, now also for DirecTv subscribers. Moviecity Play is already a reality and we hope that soon all our customers, from Mexico to Patagonia, will be able to enjoy the best Moviecity content online as well."
