Cosmic Post, high-level postproduction on wheels… with Pablo

The Canadian Cosmic Post has chosen Quantel's Pablo correction and finishing solution as the heart of its new mobile unit for 2D and 3D post-production housed in an impressive trailer designed to facilitate the entire process in the very place where filming takes place.

The Canadian Cosmic Post has chosen the solution for correction and finishing Pablo de Quantel as the heart of its new mobile post-production unit designed to offer production companies the highest quality and post-production services wherever, no matter how remote, filming is taking place.

This mobile post-production studio has been housed in a 12-meter-long trailer that is fully air-conditioned and offers maximum comfort in its facilities.

Cosmic Post is a company founded by Paul St Amand. This guru in the production of large format programs with many years of experience behind him assures that "in post-production everything is changing. Now it is necessary to make decisions on the set itself. As a producer, it is a great advantage to be able to work on the set itself and start working with images from the same day immediately, so directors can see the results of their session in their own context. They simply chat with our Pablo artist and work with the images projected on the screen with a Christie 2210 projector in RealD in our own mobile unit.”

Headquartered in Vancouver, Cosmic Post is willing to move its mobile post-production studio anywhere in North America. As the business develops they have shown interest in investing in more mobile post-production units, so they can be in the US and Canada, on the east and west coasts at the same time. They are also thinking about future expansion in Europe.
