Chyron and ENPS announce, coinciding with IBC, a new partnership through which Chyron's Camio media asset management server and Axis World graphics solutions can be seamlessly integrated into ENPS workflows for network and mobile production.

Chyron y ENPS have announced a new partnership through which Chyron's Camio media asset management server and Axis World graphics products can be seamlessly integrated into ENPS workflows for network and mobile production.

“ENPS serves the editorial heart of our clients' newsrooms and we are delighted to once again partner with Chyron, a global provider of innovative graphics solutions,” said Mike Palmer, director of ENPS design and integration strategy at The Associated Press, where ENPS originated. “Together we will be able to offer customers the ability to drag and drop graphics and convert them into web or mobile content, and also be able to reuse broadcast graphics on the web, on mobile devices and in social media,” he added.

Broadcast graphs can be easily reused online by dragging the graph from an ENPS broadcast script and posting it to an ENPS network history. The tools are also just as useful for integrating graphics that have been specifically created for web and mobile stories and converting them into broadcast scripts. Users will be able to drag and drop from Chyron to an ENPS broadcast story, without requiring further user action.

Chyron works with ENPS via the MOS protocol to seamlessly route Chyron graphics to online distribution channels.

“Working with ENPS provides broadcasters the ability to leverage and dedicate their valuable infrastructure and personnel to the production of network, mobile and social media content – in addition to broadcast actions,” said Bill Hendler, chief technology officer at Chyron. “Customers will be able to reduce costs and maximize productivity by using a common set of editorial tools, people and workflow for all the content they publish and broadcast,” he added.

The flexibility offered by Chyron and ENPS allows customers to reuse content, but also gives them the option, whenever needed, to create distribution-specific versions that have been tailored for broadcast, web, mobile and social media.
