Lemo M: multi-contact connection, shielded and safe against vibrations

Lemo's new M series is made of high-strength aluminum and incorporates a new interlocking mechanism that allows faster and safer coupling in aggressive and high-vibration environments.

In both vehicles and portable equipment, the M Series of Lemon offers the smallest connector in a multi-contact version, shielded and safe against vibrations, watertight and very light with high contact density and 360º EMI protection with Lemo quality.

For many military and aerospace applications, product development engineers initially look to MIL-38999 connectors, but if space is at a premium, then a very small connector with high contact density is required, so size becomes critical.

This series is one of the lightest and most compact in the Lemo range and offers significant weight and size advantages over micro circular connectors.

Típicamente un conector MIL de 6 contactos para cables 22AWG tiene un diámetro de 21 mm. y una longitud de 31mm. el modelo Lemo 1M de hasta 8 contactos para el mismo cable, tiene un diámetro de solo 14,6mm. y una longitud de 26,4mm.

Más pequeños que Mighty Mouse, el 0M tiene un diámetro de solo 13mm. con dos opciones de acabado exterior que facilitan la manipulación y el acceso en espacios reducidos.

Mejor que los contactos Double Density, por ejemplo, con 114 contactos en un cuerpo de diámetro 34mm, Lemo emplea envolventes más pequeños en comparación con otros conectores miniatura militares con el consiguiente ahorro de costes y espacio.

Diseñados para utilización en entornos agresivos se han verificado pruebas como vibración, shock, altitud, temperatura, inmersión, protección a polvo y productos químicos, inflamabilidad y claramente han demostrado la capacidad de trabajo en numerosas aplicaciones.

La gama se ha incrementado y ahora incluye los tamaños 0,1,2,3,TM,4,LM y 5 equivalentes a tamaños 8 a 23 MIL, con machos aéreos, hembras de panel con distintas bases y tapones para todos los modelos.
