Pesa will present at NAB Cattrax Web for matrix control via browser

Ideal for monitoring environments, post-production or any remote network location, Cattrax Web is compatible with the entire line of Pesa matrices, being able to control systems from 16x16 to 1024x1024.

Pesa will present its new control software for Cattrax Web routers at NAB 2012. Expanding the capabilities of Cattrax local network-based software, Cattrax Web uses the most common Web browsers as a client interface to monitor and control routers anywhere in the world.

Ideal for monitoring environments, post-production or any remote network location, Cattrax Web is compatible with the entire line of Pesa matrices, being able to control systems from 16x16 to 1024x1024.

The system operates over Ethernet via TCP/IP and communicates directly with the Pesa PERC2000 control system.
Cattrax web takes advantage of the PERC2000 control card configuration included in the matrix or in an external 1 RU chassis. Once configured, Cattrax Web can be used as any remote control panel connected to the system.

Based on the Microsoft Windows platform, Cattrax Web is compatible with Windows Server 2003, 2008 or Windows 7 operating systems. It resides on a network server on the client and supports Microsoft IIS (Internet Information Services) or Apache HTTP servers.

The software offers the possibility of customizing all types of options, being able to block or unblock sources or destinations. Additionally, single or multiple blocks can be locked or switched simultaneously.

The basic Cattrax Web system supports up to ten simultaneous clients, each with a unique password that protects the client profile and provides access to all or part of the array. If more users are needed, Cattrax Web can expand groups of 10, 25, 50 and 100 users.
