This installation will allow up to 60 users wirelessly with fissure without communication between the different cells throughout all studies, external areas and corridors of the TVN production center.

The Chilean TVN Chile has installed an acrobat wireless intercom system of Riedel Communications. To establish a communications infrastructure at its Santiago de Chile production center, in addition to an Acrobat system interfaces have been deployed with the intercom matrix system already existing in the studies.

This project has been carried out in two phases. In a first step, all studies, and the outer area, where most shows are produced, as well as a part of the interior halls, were covered with the Acrobat network. In a second phase, the rest of the facilities were covered.

Mauricio Rojo, in charge of the engineering of this project on TVN, said that “we compare Riedel Acrobat with other systems in real live production conditions. The result and our choice was very clear. Everyone in our team opted for Acrobat de Riedel both for the quality of audio and robustness of the equipment”.

Currently TVN Chile uses an Acrobat installation with eight individual parties. In a second phase the installation will be expanded that will allow up to 60 users wirelessly. Seven additional antennas and 25 additional petacas will complement the existing system. "It is really important for us to have a centralized system. The possibility of maintaining fissure communication between the different cells is very important for us and Acrobat has perfectly covered our demand."

The Acrobat system is connected to other Intercom systems used in TVN studies. Integration is carried out through four -wire connections. This allows communications to individual partylines from the control panels.
