Cinegy streamlines multi-format and device distribution in the Swedish Hockey League
Swedish Hockey League images are automatically sent via Cinegy Convert when the word “goal” is included in the metadata, automating delivery for different formats and clients: broadcast, web and mobile devices.
Cinegy y Veritas Production have just announced the recent installation of Cinegy Archive for media production and management at Sports Editing Sweden.
Sports Editing Sweden (SES) is a production company and audiovisual services company with clients including the Swedish Hockey League.
The Cinegy system installed at SES is based on Cinegy Archive MAM that manages both content and metadata. Connected to seven editors, it allows operators during live broadcasts of the hockey championship to carry out log/edit operations in real time.
Since customers using hockey league footage require different formats, Cinegy Convert offers different outputs in one automated process from MXF HD clips for broadcasters to web formats.
SES together with Cinegy technology, implemented by integrator Veritas Produktion, have developed a custom logging template that simplifies the creation of metadata and subclips, as well as match scores. Subclips and metadata are automatically sent to Cinegy Convert when the word “goal” is included. The result is automated sending to different clients for use in broadcast, web and mobile devices.
To date, this process was carried out manually. End customers can now connect to the SES MAM and search, browse and select content in the format of their choice using the Cinegy Workspace client. This connection takes place over the Internet.
