Weisscam extends the life cycle of digital cameras

Its SOHA platform provides a highly complex technological solution, with an easy-to-use and intuitive interface that allows operators to use the camera under all possible conditions and environments.

After two years of development, Weisscam will launch at NAB its new SOHA solution that aims to extend the life cycle of professional digital cinema cameras while significantly improving the return on investment.

Stefan Weiss, CEO of Weisscam, highlighted that "our responsibility is the simplification of high technology so that beginning users find our products completely intuitive. The T-CAM with SOHA is the embodiment of this concept, allowing filmmakers to keep their full attention on their passion: making movies."

The SOHA platform has an interchangeable sensor card (2/3”, Super16 and Super35 format), high-performance interface (more than 1,200MBytes/s) for industry-standard recorders; uncompressed RAW and HD output… and all this under a modular software architecture.

Sensor cards can be changed to cover all formats or to upgrade hardware to the latest sensor design without the need to purchase a new camera.
