Zack Synder and V-Raptor XL

The director Zack Snyder, who is currently shooting his latest film with the sensor V-Raptor, has been able to take a look at the new system XL. In their own words: "The V-Raptor XL has everything we need. We already knew that the V-Raptor sensor produces great images, but with the added features that come with the XL, we are even more excited. The internal ND system is an incredible advantage for our production methodology. We are shooting at wide apertures all the time, so it is vital. The XL is an incredible studio camera. With technology like this, there are no more excuses, now it's up to you."

Jarred Land, president of RED, is proud of the new V-Raptor, which he defines as “one of the most innovative cameras we have launched on the market.” "The XL builds on our powerful V-RAPTOR and adds more outputs, greater power flexibility and an incredible internal contact lens system. The entire RED team is very proud of the advancements it brings to cinematographers, and we can't wait to see what they create," he concludes.
