Abertis Telecom will carry out the maintenance service for the Correos Telecom network

The contract contemplates the maintenance of the linear and radioelectric infrastructures operated by Correos Telcom throughout the national territory.

Abertis Telecom has been awarded the comprehensive maintenance service for the infrastructure of the telecommunications network operated by Correos Telecom, a subsidiary of the State Postal and Telegraph Company.

The signed contract contemplates the comprehensive maintenance of the linear infrastructure (2,974 km of fiber optics) and radioelectric infrastructure (225 locations) operated by Correos Telecom throughout Spanish territory.

Abertis will carry out preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, as well as network conditioning and improvements, and construction or modification of infrastructure. It will also carry out the installation and maintenance of the technological equipment necessary at each location, and the dismantling of existing equipment and infrastructure (radio and satellite stations, multiplexers, distributors, pole lines, wiring...). The contract also provides for technical assistance for the analysis of technical feasibility or the review of lines. It also contemplates the awarding of this service to Abertis Telecom and another company in the sector for a period of three years.
