I Tecsmedia Conference “Technologies Applied to Media”

They will take place on June 5 and 6 at the facilities of the Aragón Technological Institute in the Walqa Technology Park, Huesca.

The Technological Institute of Aragon from the ICT Audiovisual Demonstration Center organizes the I Tecsmedia Conference “Applied Media Technologies” that will take place on June 5 and 6, 2012 at the facilities of the Technological Institute of Aragon in the Walqa Technology Park, Huesca.

En dichas Jornadas tendrá lugar la Asamblea General Extraordinaria de la plataforma tecnológica española de Tecnologías Audiovisuales en Red (eNEM), espejo nacional de la Plataforma Europea NEM (Networked & Electronic Media), así como se celebrará 7ª Asamblea General y el proceso de elección de su comité gestor de la Iniciativa Española de Software y Servicios (INES).

On the first day, the Technological platforms will report during the Assemblies on the activity carried out during 2011 and the plans for 2012, as well as the details of their Strategic Research Agendas in areas related to Audiovisual Technologies. The sessions of the different Working Groups will also be held in the R+D+i and Félix de Azara buildings, in Walqa; and at the headquarters of the Technological Institute of Aragon (ITA), in Zaragoza, the process for the election of the INES Management Committee will be presented.

On the second day you will be able to count on the interventions of the main national and international authorities in R&D&i explaining the policies and programs to support innovation, research and development, as well as debate sessions and round tables. In parallel, different technical seminars will also take place, as well as workshops to exchange ideas to encourage the generation of new projects and to discuss them with representatives of the main national and international financing programs.

Finally, it should be noted that an exhibition area for projects and initiatives will be made available to companies, as well as a visit to the recently inaugurated ICT Audiovisual Demonstration Center.
