The new application allows one iPad to control multiple compact consoles from the Soundcraft Si and Vi range on a single wireless network.

At InfoComm 2012, Harman is showing its first version of the application for remote control on iPad Soundcraft ViSi. Available now for free from the Apple Store, it allows one iPad to control multiple compact consoles from the Soundcraft Si range on a single wireless network.

The Soundcraft ViSi remote allows users to move around a studio or stage space freely while adjusting channel levels, aux and matrix sends, graphic EQ, bus outputs...

The application also allows you to control Vi series consoles (including Vi1, VI2, VI4 and Vi6). A single iPad could even control multiple network mixing consoles.

Its development is based on the Harman HiQnet architecture to connect consoles in a wireless network that communicate with the iPad.

For more flexibility, multiple iPads can be used on the same network, even on the same console, so that multiple technicians or artists can individually control their own output to monitors, for example.
