Schneider Optics launches the Compact ND kit for 14mm lenses.

Zeiss CP.2 lenses and Canon Cinema EOS Primes now have the option of having a neutral density filter kit.

Schneider Optics has launched the Compact ND neutral filter kit for 114mm lenses. in diameter. The kit includes an adapter ring designed to place the 1-1/2-inch filters that come in the kit on lenses for Zeiss CP.2 and Canon EOS Primes.

This kit is now available on the market and includes three neutral density lenses in concentrations 0.6 (2 stops), 0.9 (3 stops) and 1.2 (4 stops).

Compact ND meets the needs of cinematographers who work with 114 mm diameter lenses. that do not have front protection, and in situations that, using the mattebox, may involve a lot of weight, excessive assembly time or be affected by wind.

The Schneider Optics kit can be used to reduce the quality of light that the lens absorbs. These filters are commonly used to allow the use of larger apertures, reducing the depth of field for specific focuses or changing focus during filming.

The Sunshade ring (not included in the kit) can be attached with the Compact ND kit to minimize direct light caused by image problems, as well as flickering in images.
