Laura de Rivera, appointed general secretary of the RTVE Corporation
Renewal at RNE: Juan Roldán Corres, will be deputy director of Territorial Centers; Adolfo Muñoz Berrón, director of Media and Broadcasting at RNE; Juan Fernández Vegue, director of RNE News; María Luisa Moreno, director of Radio 5; and Alejandro Alcalde, deputy director of the Central Editorial Office.
The Board of Directors of RTVE, chaired by Leopoldo González-Echenique, has appointed Laura de Rivera, a State lawyer who until now has held the position of General Director of Historical Heritage of the Community of Madrid, Secretary General of the RTVE Corporation and its Board of Directors.
In addition, the Council has been informed of the renewal in the RNE board of directors with professionals with long experience in the channel, such as Juan Fernández Vegue, in the News direction; María Luisa Moreno, new director of Radio 5; Alejandro Alcalde, who will be responsible for the Central Editorial Office; Adolfo Muñoz, head of Technical Media and Broadcasts; and Juan Roldán, who will be in charge of the territorial centers.
Laura de Rivera García de Leániz, born in 1976, has a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and a master's degree in Finance from the Institute of Stock Market Studies, with an intense career in public service. The until now general director of Historical Heritage of the Community of Madrid will take charge of the General Secretary of the RTVE Corporation and the Secretary of the Board of Directors, a position held by Silvia García Malsipica, to whom the Council expressed its gratitude for the services provided.
De Rivera has developed extensive technical legal work in the field of public administration. She began her professional career in 1999 as a lawyer at the Uría y Menéndez firm, in the Commercial Department. Subsequently, he joined the State Bar in June 2003, practicing in the State Bars of Madrid and Barcelona. In June 2008 she was appointed lawyer to the Advisory Council of the Community of Madrid, advising the members of the Council on matters of property liability, regulatory developments and administrative contracting. In July 2011 she became general director of Historical Heritage of the Community of Madrid, a position she has held to this day.
In addition, he has performed teaching duties and has participated in various publications on certain subjects of administrative law.
Changes in RNE
The renewal at Radio Nacional occurs among professionals from the network, who have been thanked for their work, by other professionals from the same station, with a long history in it.
Juan Fernandez Vegue (Madrid, 1960) is the new News Director of RNE, a position in which he replaces Carlos Guerrero. Fernández Vegue has a degree in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid and has been linked to RNE since his professional beginnings, where he has held different positions of responsibility. Currently he directed Together step by step, an RNE; sound file, on Radio 5; and also collaborated with the space Silhouette.
Fernández Vegue joined RTVE by competitive examination in 1985. Between 2002 and 2004 he was deputy director of RNE's News Services and director of Radio 5. Previously, between 2000 and 2002, he was head of RNE's Local News Area; between 1999 and 2000, he directed the local Radio 1 news program “Crónica de Madrid”; From 1998 to 1999 he was deputy director of the news program “España at 8”, on RNE; In 1994 he became head of the Local Information Service of the RNE Information Services; and in 1993 he was deputy editor of the World News Service of Radio Exterior of Spain.
The new head of RNE's Information Services is a regular contributor to the cultural magazine “Turia” and has extensive teaching experience: Internship coordinator and professor of the Radio master's degree at the Rey Juan Carlos University; professor of the RNE master's degree, at the Complutense of Madrid; and professor of the Complutense Summer School courses.
He has been awarded the Silver Antenna twice, awarded by the Association of Radio and Television Professionals of Madrid and has received the award from the Madrid Police Headquarters and the Madrid Municipal Police. He was coordinator of the initiative More Europe, in collaboration with the European Union, for which the RNE News, under the direction of Manuel Ventero, obtained the Salvador de Madariaga award. He is the author of the report March 11, four months later, which was preselected for the 2004 Prix Europa.
Alejandro Alcalde Giménez (1957) will be the deputy director of the Central Editorial Office of RNE, replacing Manuel Verdegay. Alcalde Giménez has a degree in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid. Until now he directed and presented the program on Radio Exterior de España Fourth World and the international gathering News up for debate. He has been head of RNE News in La Rioja. He has directed and presented the news Key of 5 and the 14 Hour Diary. He has also co-edited the Night Diary and the 2 p.m. daily, in Madrid, in addition to having worked as an editor at the territorial head of RNE in the Basque Country, in Vitoria.
He has been a correspondent in Italy and special envoy to Saudi Arabia and Kuwait during the 1st Gulf War (Ondas award to RNE's SS.II. for their coverage). He has also been reporting from areas of special interest, such as Albania, Venezuela and following up diplomatically after the institutional coup in the USSR. He worked in the Burgos newspaper and in the León newspaper. He has been a contributor to Diario 16 and co-founder of the magazine Sardanapalus. He is a professor of Editing, International Information and Reporting in the Radio master's degree at the Rey Juan Carlos University and Bravo Radio Award winner.
María Luisa Moreno de Viana Cárdenas (Málaga, 1959), se pondrá al frente de la dirección de Radio 5 Todo Noticias en sustitución de Juan Carlos Morales. Es Licenciada en Ciencias de la Información por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid. Ingresó por oposición en RTVE en el año 1983. Desde 2002 ha centrado su actividad profesional en Radio 5, donde ese año comenzó a trabajar como coordinadora de redacción. Anteriormente fue editora de boletines en Radio 5. En 2007 pasó a la edición de boletines de la redacción de fin de semana de RNE. Entre 2000 y 2002 fue subjefe del Área de Local de los Servicios Informativos de RNE. Con anterioridad desempeñó durante varios años el cargo de jefe del Servicio de Información Local de RNE.
Asimismo, ha sido delegada de RCE en Salamanca (1983-1988) y directora del programa matinal de RCE Buenos Días (1988-1990.). Entre los años 2007 y 2010 colaboró en los programas de TVE Grandes Documentales, de La 2. También colaboró durante varios años en distintos periódicos, como los desaparecidos Pueblo e Informaciones.
Ha recibido el Premio Información Parlamentaria de la Asamblea de Madrid y la Antena de Plata de la Federación Española de Profesionales de Radio y Televisión por su labor en la información local durante 1996, en la categoría de radio.
Adolfo Muñón Berrón (1962), nuevo director de Emisiones y Medios de RNE, en sustitución de Miguel Ángel Coleto. Muñoz Berrón es ingeniero técnico en Informática de Sistemas (UNED), técnico especialista en Electrónica de Comunicaciones y tiene un curso de Postgrado en Administración de Redes (UOC). Desde 2007 es responsable de Sistemas de Redacción, dentro de la dirección de Planificación e Innovación Tecnológica de RTVE, donde se ha llevado a cabo el diseño e implantación del Sistema de Contribución de RTVE.
El nuevo responsable de Emisiones y Medios de RNE es especialista de Sonido y Control (oposición en 1984) y realizador de radio (promoción en 2004). Ha sido jefe de Servicio de Digitalización, desde donde ha participado en la implantación del Sistema de Producción Digital en los centros de producción de RNE y en el diseño y configuración de la Red de Conexión para el Intercambio de Contenidos (1999-2007)
Juan Roldán Corres (Barcelona,1958), nuevo subdirector de Centros Territoriales de RNE, en sustitución de Montse Carmen Morera. Roldán Corres es licenciado en Ciencias de la Información por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y ha realizado toda su trayectoria profesional en RTVE, donde se inició, en 1977, como redactor en la emisora de Vitoria-Gasteiz y en el Centro Regional de TVE en Bilbao.
En 1982, con tan solo 24 años, Juan Roldán ocupó la dirección de la emisora pública en Bilbao; más tarde, en 1984, fue jefe de Informativos y programas del País Vasco. En 1988 fue nombrado director territorial de la Rioja, para continuar en 1990 como jefe de Información Local en RNE Madrid. Entre 1993 y 1995 dirigió y presentó los informativos Spain at 8 y Diario de las Dos del fin de semana.
En 1999 fue nombrado director territorial de TVE en Castilla y León, cargo que desempeñó hasta 2002, cuando se hizo cargo de la jefatura de Redacción del fin de Semana en RNE en Madrid. En 2003 fue designado subdirector de redacción de los Servicios Informativos de Radio Nacional. En los últimos años, dirigía y presentaba los programas Españoles en el Exterior y Paisajes y Sabores, en Radio Exterior de España.
Tiene en su haber diversas distinciones y premios, entre ellos una Antena de Plata al mejor informativo local. Además ha impartido clases en las Universidades Rey Juan Carlos I y Complutense de Madrid.
