In the IBC we can attend two demonstrations that enhance the complementary nature of the portfolios of Miranda and Telecast, within the Bethden Group. In the first demonstration a Telecast Copperhead transmitter is linked to the fiber camera intake signals from and to a mobile unit with Miranda technology. In another presentation, a small POV chamber (point of view) is the central axis of an interactive demonstration that enhances the performance of fiber connectivity by means of monitoring by remote control and robotic control.
Nvision
At the IBC 2012 Miranda Technologies has announced the launch of its new Nvision 920 upper class matricter and the update of the updated nvision 8140 matrix. Both have been designed with a functionality without limitations in the heart of their compact nuclei.
The 1RU NV920 is specifically designed to control Miranda routers and third parties in demanding Broadcast applications with space restriction and includes redundant power sources, first -line service capacity and flexible configuration options, which make it the ideal device for mobile units and small studies.
The NV920 is available as a single controller that can be easily updated to obtain redundant control with the simple incorporation of a second control module. As the NV920 modules can be replaced from the front panel there is no need to access the rear of the unit to remove cables, threads or screws. This allows the changes to add modules, without the need to interrupt the service. The redundant power sources of the unit can also be exchanged at the time, representing a critical element for most Broadcast facilities.
