Telemetrics' growing range of camera control systems at IBC 2012
From robotic camera to coaxial/fiber systems and camera control software, Telemetrics offers turnkey solutions at IBC 2012.
An IBC 2012, Telemetrics is conducting a demonstration of leading products that provide improved operational efficiency for the broadcast and production markets. In addition to the recently introduced HDSC-1 robotic camera, universal lens driving system and fiber transmission systems, the Telemetrics showcase includes a full selection of high-performance yet cost-effective software control products, motorized tripods and pan/tilt systems.
Anthony Cuomo, vice president and general manager of Telemetrics, highlighted that "our full range of robotic cameras and control solutions reach new levels of creativity and efficiency within robotic production. From the robotic camera to coaxial/fiber systems and camera control software, Telemetrics offers turnkey and custom-tailored solutions for virtually any broadcast and production application."
Among the highlights at the Telemetrics stand we find:
- HDSC-1 HD 1080/60p camera with integrated 20X Canon lens that provides native 1920 x 1080 HD-SDI video performance, plus SD composite video performance in NTSC and PAL formats.
- ULD universal lens drive to be displayed with a Sony PMW-F3 Super 35mm XDCAM EX camera recorder? to highlight its motorized zoom, focus and iris functions.
- Power-transmitting coaxial/fiber link with full CCU functionality over distances up to 3,000′ using standard field-serviceable coaxial cable and Neutrik OpticalCON Duo cable.
- Pan/Tilt fiber system that provides video transmission, genlock and remote control capability for Telemetrics P/T robot heads, including PT-RM-1, PT-CP-S4, PT-HP-S4 and PT-LP-S4 at distances up to 10 kilometers.
- Robotic camera tripods/trolley/track systems, including Telemetrics' Televator, TeleGlide and TelePod systems, provide lifting and trolley capability.
- Control software/panels shown, including the company's CPS Studio Control software, LGS Legislative Control software, and Symphony Control software, plus the CP-ITV4 inTELEgent P/T/Z/F camera control panel.
