Telemetrics will participate in IBC 2018 with its innovative pedestals and camera control panels
It will present for the first time in Europe the new OmniGlide mobile platform (model RRP-1) which features an orbital drive system that offers freedom of movement for smoother direction changes and movement along curved trajectories.
Telemetrics will show in IBC 2018 its latest solutions including innovative camera pedestals and advanced camera control panels, as well as a complete line of pan/tilt heads and tracking systems.
Due to their mechanical precision and silent operation, these solutions are designed for studios with automated production, virtual sets or small spaces.
At IBC 2018, Telemetrics will present for the first time in Europe the new OmniGlide mobile platform (model RRP-1) that has a system of orbital drive offering freedom of movement for smoother direction changes and movement along curved paths. Dynamic movements do not lose camera orientation when performing crab movements or turns on the fly.
With full robotic control, the OmniGlide roving pedestal uses advanced software and XY sensors, similar to those in the autonomous automotive industry, to assist in its unmanned operation. Robotic mode uses a remote control to move via joystick in an

Continuing with the success of his Remote Camera Control Panel, the RCCP-1A, Telemetrics will show broadcasters and production companies new features for a more complete “Advanced” control panel – the NAB Best of Show 2018 award-winning reFrame technology is one of the celebrated improvements to the RCCP-1A. It is designed for larger radio and television studios and legislative production centers.
The RCCP-1A from Telemetrics now comes with a complete user interface and improved features including joystick configuration, smoother zoom functions, and loop-hold capabilities.
The system, with optional Studio software (the RCCP-1A-STS), also includes Telemetrics' reFrame Automatic Shot Correction technology. This augments automated newsroom systems by using facial recognition to lock cameras on talent and automatically crop the shot without the operator ever having to touch the controls. The RCCP-1A-STS also allows users to store multiple shows, each with their own unique inventory of shots.
Using Telemetrics Legislative software (RCCP-1A-LGS), the system provides an aerial view of the room and its various participants. Then, using the RCCP control panel, the operator can click on any seat in the room and have the cameras instantly move to that person while speaking.
