During the event, the 'White Book of Spanish Animation' will be presented to the specialized press, TV channels and buyers, with the most recent and interesting data on the industry.

After a great start to the season at the Cartoon Forum in Toulouse, the Spanish industry will show at the Mip Junior in Cannes, all its international potential from various angles and promotional platforms.

The Spanish delegation of production companies and distributors is made up of: BRB, Edebe Audiovisual Licensing, Film Factory, Finding4you, Imira Entertainment, Motion Pictures, Neptuno Films, Nottingham Forest, TForma, Televisió de Cataluya (TV3) and Vodka.

Since the popular Kids' Jury contest began three years ago, where the children of Nice evaluate and choose the most attractive product for their age target, the presence of Spanish content has been a constant. Nottingham Forest Media Advisors, is in this edition, one of the finalists with Sendokai Champions The series, produced by Kotoc, will compete for the children's audience award for the 7-10 year old target.

Another Spanish company that will play a prominent role is Ink Apache. In this case and with a multiplatform project, the production company will compete in the International Pitch for Projects in Development. The objective of the contest is to identify the next big brand in children's entertainment content and, in this case, the jury is made up exclusively of professionals in the sector. The project is named The Caves (52X11) is one of the six finalists and has been chosen among 190 projects from around the world.

For Antonio Morales, representative of the production company and in charge of defending the project before the jury “The Caves es un proyecto con enorme potencial internacional & aplicaciones 360º. Para llevarlo a cabo resulta imprescindible contar con coproductores y televisiones de otros países. En estos momentos estamos en fase de desarrollo, potenciando la presencia del proyecto en todos los eventos internacionales de animación en los que creemos que podemos encontrar los coproductores y las pre-compras necesarias. Confiamos en que las características innovadoras, de alta calidad y potencial del proyecto que vamos a presentar nos ayudarán a establecer relaciones con estos socios potenciales para que el proyecto pueda llegar a los espectadores muy pronto”.
