D'Artacán turns 30 and prepares its jump to 3D
‘D’Artacán y los Tres Mosqueperros’ se ha emitido en más de un centenar de países y ha sido traducida a más de treinta idiomas. En 2014 se estrenará en la gran pantalla y en 3D.
D’Artacán y los Tres Mosqueperros, la famosa serie de BRB International, celebra este martes su trigésimo aniversario. Sus conocidos personajes se asomaron por primera vez a la pequeña pantalla el 9 de octubre de 1982 de la mano de Televisión Española y, desde entonces, sus aventuras siguen triunfando en todo el mundo.
The brand remains in force in the digital era, with thousands of daily views on YouTube and a prominent presence on Facebook, Twitter, mobile devices (iPhone, iPad...) and new video-on-demand platforms such as BRBPLAY.COM. On this platform they are celebrating Mosqueperro's birthday by offering exclusive viewing of their entire series, in Spanish and English and for free, during this week.
After 30 years of life, D'Artacán has become a universal icon aimed at all audiences, with great success in different countries such as Spain, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Portugal, Japan and the United States, where it has received various awards such as the Bronze Medal at the New York Film and Television Festival or the TP Award for the most popular children's series.
The series, which was followed by a second season titled The Return of D'Artacan, has been broadcast in more than a hundred countries and has been translated into more than thirty languages, broadcast on networks such as Clan de TVE (Spain), BBC (United Kingdom), TF1 (France), MBS (Japan), Sat 1 (Germany), Mediaset (Italy), RTP (Portugal), Televisa (Mexico),…

Coinciding with this anniversary, the production company BRB has announced that it is preparing its film version that will be released in 2014. This 3D feature film will be aimed at a global audience and has North American scriptwriters on its team.
