With three inputs and two outputs, this instant replay server comes in a 1 RU chassis and weighs just 4.5 kg.

Slomo.Tv is a company founded in 2007 as a spin off of the Russian Picture Element (PEL). Since its birth, it quickly consolidated its solutions in its home market, Russia, with numerous installations. Now, it has focused on the international market with Simple R, the new member of its family of Slowmotion solutions.

With three inputs and two outputs, this instant replay server comes in a 1 RU chassis and weighs just 4.5 kg. In these compact dimensions, it is capable of storing up to 125 hours in DVCPRO HD, with the possibility of searching images on three channels simultaneously during the playout itself and with the help of a multi-screen interface.

For more advanced configurations, Slomo.Tv offers a version with four recording channels, data export for QT/MXF and support for high-speed Super Motion cameras.

Simple R, after its presentation at the last IBC, has been installed on Bulgarian TV1 on the occasion of the World Cup qualification match between Bulgarua and Denmark in mid-October.

This solution served to offer slow motion replays from three cameras during the match as well as summaries during half-time and at the end of the match, all in high definition.

The CEO of TV1, Rumen Kowachew, has assured that “this system is stable and strong, and we are very satisfied with it.”
