BSI debuts its Super SloMo wireless camera

The BSI proposal operates at 400 frames per second in high definition and has been developed in collaboration with the Japanese NAC.

The British Broadcast Sports (BSI) has used its new wireless camera with slow motion, NAC, in the match that Chelsea Liverpool played last Sunday in the Premier League in a broadcast for Sky Sports.

The camera was used throughout the match, replacing a traditional wireless camera and, in this case, offering instant replays.

BSI presented this system at the last IBC at the heart of which we find a BSI dual-channel mini-transmitter that provides an RF link for the video stream and playback, while the receiver provides a radio link for its remote control.

While SloMo are usually used in fixed camera positions with large lenses, in the case of BSI they have managed to offer this function on a steadicam, thus capturing impressive images in repetition.
